Jezil, Sports personality of the week

If you were there at the final day of the SU sports festival match between Education and Physical Science, you will know that its not easy to organize a sporting event anywhere in the world. To control the passion of the fans who will want to step on the pitch after every whistle claiming 'ojoro'. Ko easy. I want to say kudos to BJ the sports director at SU and all the personalities behind the success of the event.

That brings me to the choice of who should be the sports personality of the week. A man who abandoned his position as the captain of the faculty football team in order to chair the committee planning the event so that the competition will be a total success as it is.

Adams Jesse Odoba Yacham
A.K.A Jezil is the sports personality of the week. He is a 400 level student in the department of Human and Kinetic Education, faculty of Education. The Kaduna State indigene was born on the 20th of July many years ago. His role model is Suraj Ayeleso. He is a real football fan supporting Kwara united and Arsenal. His favorite colour is yellow.

Jezil represented Kwara Football Team at the National Festival in 2012. He also represented the University of Ilorin at the Pre Nuga games, and was in the team for the 2012 WAUG games but didn't play.

Currently, Jezil is The University of Ilorin football team captain, Team Education Captain, Team Hke Captain and Hke class of 2015 Captain.

In Jezil's words 'I'm gentle and easy going but could as well be one of the most interesting people you'll be glad to have met' its true. He believes that "There will come a time in your life where you will have to grab the bull by its tail then face the consequences".

Jezil's hobbies include fishing, hunting, cooking, reading, playing and watching  football and making friends.

Adams Jesse has many medals in  sports. He is a 3 times Unilorin SU cup Champion. He is an
Etisalat 5-aside Gold medalist,
Pepsi 5-aside Silver medalist,
Unilorin VC cup Bronze medalist,
2 times Education Dean's cup winner and a runner's up medal at Education Dean's cup.

"My major dream is to lead University of Ilorin to glory at the forth coming NUGA and WAUG games but its not gonna be possible, not without your prayers, my fellow Unilorites... Bless" he said.
