Show me a country where everybody is looking for visa to relocate to European countries and countries beyond Africa and you are pointing at a country where the citizens have given up on their government. To every Nigerian, everybody is a thief. People don't even trust their own selves. Everybody assume that even if they are given the opportunity to rule Nigeria, they will be as corrupt as the popular corrupt politicians at the helm of affairs in the country presently. In a layman's words, the people have lost their hope.
But like the saying "with life, there is hope" this same pessimistic Nigerians have changed the music on their lips after the emergence of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari as the president elect of Nigeria in a hot battled election on the 28th of March 2015 against the incumbent president of the country, president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. As Gen. Muhammadu Buhari started contesting for this position since 2003 and lost 3 times but never gave up in trying to fight corruption in the country, so must we not give up on this nation no matter how many times politicians disappoint us. I just can't wait to experience Gen. Buhari's Administration. I have heard alot of things about his administration during his military regime but you know, seeing is believing.
One person I will miss after May 28th is Madam Patience. Madam your excellency ma, any sending off gift?
I will be expecting it hahaha
